I get asked a lot about the makeup I use and what makeup (cosmetics) are good especially for Asian skin tones. Here is a breakdown for what I have in my “bag of tricks”. As you know, I am registered as MAC Pro – I tend to use a lot of MAC products. I normally buy these from various outlets but prefer the MAC store in Liverpool. This standalone store has a lot of variety and I normally find everything in stock at this shop. I also use quite a bit of Bobbi Brown and have always enjoyed using and working with the classic brands such as Chanel, Cristian Dior and YSL. At the end it depends on your colour preference – sometimes 1 brand has a better colour sequence than the other brand. For Kajal, I prefer “Shahnaz Hussain” – this kajal is refined and applies very well and is reasonably “tear proof”. For a lot of ladies who like “Pakistani” makeup – you can find brands such as “Medora” at shops like “Bombay Bazar” in Bradford and recently I have come across a website in UK that also sells Medora:

Another good Pakistani brand is “Luscious” and a lot of Pakistani Makeup Artists also use “karaja”.
Cosmetics is such a vast field – the trick is to find the brand or combination of brands that woulld suit your skin and also gives you the shade of colours that you prefer wearing.
