Lohri is a great occasion for a get together of the family and friends to celebrate the birth of a son. Lohri usually takes place in the first year of the son’s birth. However, lately and in order to celebrate births of daughters there is an initiative taken by the Sikh community to celebrate Lohri for girls as well.
With our vast experience in Asian culture weddings both in photography and videography we also have picked up a lot of experience providing coverage’s for minor functions such as Sikh Lohri (Lori) functions. Even though these are “minor” functions compared to weddings – these functions are very memorable and a great timestamp functions for adults to remember when they were small and for the parents to celebrate the various chapters in their child’s life.
Our regional teams are based in Greater Manchester, Birmingham, London, Cardiff, and Glasgow – it is through these teams that we cover all areas in the UK and sometimes even abroad!!! Whether it is a Muslim (Indian or Pakistani) baarat going from Glasgow to London or a Walima ceremony in Newcastle – a Hindu Sangeet / Mehndi in Birmingham or a Kanyadaan rasam happening in Liverpool – we should be your preferred choice of Asian Photography and Asian Videography needs…couple that with our Asian Bridal and Party Makeup and Hennah (Mehndi) artists you will always have a winning combination.
Quite recently we covered a Sikh Lohri (Lori) function in Manchester. Below are some of the pictures from that function. It was of course our pleasure being a part of this ceremony and we will happily cover your child’s Lohri function wherever in the UK you would want us to.
