All the indications from the catwalks and various bridal shows is that this season we will see a revival of vintage styles of makeup and hair styling for brides in 2014. “Casual looks” and “Simpler” styles of makeup will be strong. “Cat-eyes” will be strong and reminiscent of the late 60s and early 70’s decade. Luminous and “glowing” skin will be popular which can be achieved by using various moisturizers and “illuminators”. Lipstick shades of light pinks in the morning and dark contrasting red’s for the reception during the evening will be more popular. For brides looking for a more “bold” look – sharp blue and gold glitter on eyelids will give that dramatic look. Eyeliners and “flicks” will accentuate the eyes.
